We had the pleasure of working with the following vendors:
Cake – Cakes by Georgine
Ceremony and Reception Venue – 20th Century Theater
Coordinator – Tracy Pohlmeyer
DJ – DJ Toad
Dress – Mikaella
Flowers – Katie Elfers
Hair – Liz Carter
Makeup – Brideface (Penny)
Rings – Eddie Lane’s
Shoes – Aldo Blue Sequin Flats
Videographer – Poetic Cinema
The cupcakes were amazing. I mean absolutely heavenly. I kid you not… Perfect buttercream icing… Perfect texture and moisture on the cake… Wow. I couldn’t find a website for Cakes by Georgine, but if you’d like her email address, I’d be happy to share it – just email me!

Oh and the cupcakes were beautiful, too!

Gorgeous!

First dance!

For most people, this would probably be an out-take. But it’s just so Laura!

They did a pretty cool tradition that Laura’s dad explained…

This photo cracked me up when I first saw it. Here’s the whole wedding party standing nicely listening to what I think was the prayer… and there’s Laura with a mischievous smile. It reminds me of when I was teaching and I’d have that one kid who couldn’t resist making their friend/s laugh. ![]()

Laura’s dad SANG his toast. It was awesome!

Fantastic.

This was taken during a break in the events. Laura’s dad just took her mom’s hand and they started dancing. I hope my marriage is that awesome in 25 years.

Laura’s dance with her dad started like this…

… and turned into this!!! ![]()

Love this one!

While I was getting this one…

… Toby was taking this! Love it!

We had to take advantage of the marquee!

John got up and sang!

And Laura joined in! These guys were SO MUCH FUN!

Laura told me that she loves ring shots, so I played around a little bit! ![]()

Loved this wedding party!

We had about 10 minutes for pictures of these two and I was really happy with the results!

John’s idea. Hilarious!

I cannot even begin to express how much I enjoyed this wedding!!! Laura was one of the most fun brides I’ve ever worked with. The whole day was full of relaxing, smiling, and laughing. Combine that with a wonderful wedding party, two great families, and some surprises for the wedding guests… Seriously – can you ask for anything more?
Laura and John :: Thanks for a great day and for sending us home with a few left over cupcakes! ![]()

Laura’s dress was so classically beautiful.

The flower girl was CUTE!!!

Laura and her dad.

Penny of Brideface did a fabulous job!

Laura’s eyes looked especially gorgeous!

We had a great time working with Dan of Poetic Cinema! He does fantastic work!

Laura’s mom…

This was inspired by the playbill for Wicked. Isn’t it ridiculously amazing?!!!

Laura is a teacher so we took a big yellow school bus instead of a limo. Love it!

This is so Laura!

FAVORITE!!! Holy goodness, Laura – you’re stunning!

Katie Elfers did a phenomenal job with the flowers!

Love. Love. Love. Oh Laura, you make relaxed portraits so much fun!

Usually I don’t post many (if any) shots of the bride with each bridesmaid, but these were hilarious! After we got the “normal” shot, they all did something funny. I just couldn’t resist posting them!

The flower girl was just adorable… I love this one!

Last, but not least – Laura’s shoes. They looked super comfortable and were so fun!
