Wedding season kicked off this past Saturday with Elaine and Jake’s wedding. Although we’ve shot in Oxford, OH before, this was our first wedding there and it was AMAZING! Seriously, I would love to shoot there at least a few times a year. I was also a big fan of the fact that Elaine and Jake had an afternoon wedding with plenty of time for photos of just the two of them after the ceremony (and plenty of light the whole time )!

The emotion in this photo makes me tear up… Elaine is timelessly lovely with such a look of anticipation. And her dad just loves his little girl. So beautiful.

We heard several times on Saturday that Jake doesn’t show his emotion often, so it was extra special for his family and friends to see him cry as Elaine walked down the aisle.
