We had an absolutely wonderful time shooting Marci and Ben on Miami University’s campus!!! Not only are they a ton of fun to work with, but Miami’s campus is gorgeous!
Love how these turned out!

Beautiful!

When Toby and I started our business years ago, we brainstormed and came up with our own logo, color scheme, etc. Since then, we’ve been looking forward to the day that we’d be able to brand ourselves with the help of a professional. Over the last several months, that dream has become a reality. This year, we’ve had the privilege of working with Dan Barczak – a fantastic graphic designer who has designed for us a fabulous logo.
We’re excited to move forward with a logo that represents us and our style – natural, happy, energetic, and outside the box. I really feel like our fresh approach is captured in our new branding and I’m thrilled to share it with you all!
Be sure to look around the blog and check out the website! Everything is updated!!!
I’ve also created a brand new page on Facebook – feel free to visit it and become a fan!
Here’s to the joy of something that really captures the essence of who we are… and to crossing #6 off of my 101 in 1001 list! ![]()

If you follow my personal blog then this will be a repeat, but I wanted to share my progress with my clients, too. You guys have all be so kind and supportive!!!
Lately I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about how the cancer part of my life is just about over. I’ll have my follow-up scans this week, hopefully they’ll come back clean, and I’ll be moving on with my life. Technically then, the purpose for my personal blog would be pretty much over. Sure, I’ll have scans every 6 months… Then every year… And so on. But the day to day dealings with cancer will be pretty much finished. Yay!
Realizing this, I was faced with a big question… Do I keep up with my personal blog even after this is finished? The answer was abundantly clear to me. Of course I want to keep writing!
After deciding to keep the blog, I went to work revamping it. I wanted it to be new and fresh in honor of this new and wonderful part of my life… In the process of revamping the blog, I found myself inspired. I’m continually thinking of things that I want to do – that I’m excited to do. Because now that I’m healthy, I can finally get back to planning and dreaming the way that I could before. I want to stop putting off the things that I want to accomplish or experience… because you never know what tomorrow brings.
As these things that I wanted to accomplish kept popping into my thoughts, I’d make a mental note of them. Finally they were so numerous that I had to start writing them down! That initial list became my 101 in 1001 list – 101 things to do in 1001 days. I know it’s been done before by lots of people, but for me this list is the jumpstart to my life after cancer. Of course the day to day stuff is important too, but I like the idea of getting out there and living life, dreaming big, and making things happen.

Thanks to everyone who’s encouraged me to keep dreaming and living life despite the trials that have been thrown at us. I appreciate it more than you know.
