Before I share a few images from Julia and Chris‘ rehearsal dinner, I want to take a moment to recognize Esther. She is one of the most amazing coordinators I have ever met. Not only did she handle the bilingual, bicultural ceremony with ease, but her constant smile and calm spirit also helped things run smoothly for everyone else. She was an absolute necessity to the rehearsal, the wedding… just everything!
Esther, it was such a privilege to work with you. I enjoyed all of our conversations from talking about locations and wedding topics to just talking as two moms. It’s not often that I feel after 24 hours like I’m talking with an old friend. Thanks so much for helping Julia and Chris to plan their unique and beautiful wedding day – your personal touch made it that much more fun for us to capture. We can’t wait to work with you again! Hopefully next time it will be in LA! ![]()

Here are some shots of Esther in action!

This was the entrance to the church where Julia and Chris were married. I just loved the blue accents!

Gorgeous!

Love this moment. ![]()

Chris actually warned us that he “doesn’t photograph naturally and/or well”. I think this proves him wrong.

This only happened for a split second, but it was just the sweetest thing!

Again… Chris, are you kidding me? You’re both great smilers! ![]()

Chris’ mom and sister – beautiful!

Our friends Nick and Jimae of Wilson Fotographie were in the wedding party and it was a lot of fun to talk shop and visit during our free time!

Last, but certainly not least, here’s a few from the Pae Baek practice after dinner!

One of the most amazing things that Toby and I have experienced as photographers is the kindness of other people in the wedding industry. We’ve been so blessed to meet such amazing people and I feel like we’ve made some great friendships. Seriously – what could be better than hanging out with fantastic people that share your passion? There are so many people in the wedding industry that feel the same way and Cindy Schultz of Shelby Studios is definitely one of them. When Toby and I decided to 2nd shoot for her, we had no idea what a great person we’d be working with.
Casey and Patrick’s wedding is the first of four we’ll be shooting with Cindy. The second is this weekend! Look for the full posts in 2010 – I’ll be blogging them after our wedding season is over and we’re caught up with our clients’ blog posts. Until then, check out Cindy’s post for more of Casey and Patrick!
Cindy, we’ve enjoyed working with you so much and we can’t wait to shoot with you again this weekend! You’re totally worth the drive. ![]()

This one might be my favorite from the day – LOVE it!

Julie and Dwight are a fun couple with great families and that always makes for a wonderful wedding day! Thanks to you all for making us a part of it!
The slideshow is coming soon!

Gorgeous.

The flowers were beautiful! The orange roses reminded me of the Tropicana roses in my mom’s garden when I was a kid…

Their first look…

So small… ![]()

As I mentioned in the sneak peek, the church was unbelievable!

Julie and Dwight’s first kiss!
Toby’s view:

My view:

They gave each other a high-five on their way out of the church!

They definitely didn’t hold back!

Julie’s dad looked so proud!

Love this one Toby caught of the guys!

Julie’s look is just priceless!

The gerber daisy made a fantastic platform for the rings!
