Here’s a couple from our bridal session with Olivia! She’s so beautiful and goodness can she ever work it for the camera!!! I’m hoping to post the rest either tomorrow or Friday! Enjoy these two for now!

Toby and I have been going through Kelly and Adam’s pictures over the last two days and I just had to share a couple! I’ll write more with the official post, but I can’t say enough about what a blast this wedding was!!!
This is the photo that caught my eye. There’s just something about it that I love. It’s not just the gorgeousness of the bokeh, although it’s fabulous! (Check out Kelly’s earring! Perfect!!!) There’s something beautifully, purely artistic that just makes me feel the awesome love that these guys share. It’s almost like it’s a picture of that emotion…
Not only is the composition rockin’, but this is straight out of the camera! All I did was resize it! I’d love to take credit for it, but Toby snapped both of these! He is amazing!!!

Here’s another shot that Toby took of the same thing…

I’m always so amazed by the beauty of the world around me – whether it’s a bright blue sky, flowers, or just the grass. Seeing that beauty is one reason that I love photography so much. Being able to capture bits of the world around me is something I’ll never take for granted!
I took these weeks ago, but today seemed like a good day to post them! I loved taking the time to go outside and lay in the grass with my Macro lens.
I usually have songs playing and/or stuck in my head while I’m blogging and today, it’s a hymn I’ve been singing since I was a little girl.
For the beauty of the earth,
For the beauty of the skies,
For the love which from our birth
Over and around us lies,
Lord of all, to thee we raise
This our grateful hymn of praise.
For the beauty of each hour
Of the day and of the night,
Hill and vale, and tree and flower,
Sun and moon and stars of light,
Lord of all, to thee we raise
This our grateful hymn of praise.
Happy Earth Day.

These first three make me think of Honey I Shrunk the Kids!

Here’s that last one cropped tighter! The detail on that grass is sweet!

I love the motion and simplicity of this one!

One of my favorites… The buds are so delicate!

How awesome are the little hooks on the dandelions?!

I saw this little guy while I was laying there. Luckily, he crawled around for a bit before taking off!
