It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted pictures of the kids… Over a month in fact! Although I absolutely love blogging about the kids, clients come first. Since we’ve been so incredibly busy over the past several weeks and will only get busier over the next month or so, I figured I’d better get a post of Emma and Noah in somewhere! = )
I can’t believe Noah is already 3 months old!!! He’s getting so big and is already trying to roll over. Any day now! Emma continues to be hilarious. She’s starting to put words together and was cracking my mom and I up today with her latest… “Oh no!”, “Oh my!”, and “Where go?” These kids are absolutely fantastic and I love every minute I spend with them…
As amazing as they are – and they really, really are amazing – they refuse to be photographed together. You may remember my first try. Yes, I did get a couple of my favorite shots ever, but I’d love one without a huge Ratatouille bandaid on my daughter’s forehead. Yesterday was my second serious effort after about a million tiny tries in between. When the kids woke up yesterday, I calmly and hopefully gave both of them a bath. I gave Emma breakfast and fed Noah. I did this without letting Noah spit up all over his chosen outfit, without letting Emma smear moistened Cheerios all over her shirt, without milk spilling anywhere. We were golden. I even got Emma’s hair clip in perfectly. The kids looked fantastic. I swear they did.
And then, as I was sitting my gorgeous children next to each other in Emma’s chair, it all fell apart. Emma did NOT want to share her chair with her brother. And as Noah simply watched her, she tried to literally shove him off of the chair. When I prevented her from getting rid of him, she wailed. The noise made Noah perk up a bit and begin flailing his arms and legs, punching Emma square in the face. This did not help matters. Tears streaming down Emma’s face were quickly added to the wailing.
I took the pictures anyway.
It’s not necessarily what I wanted, but I love them. Little do Emma and Noah know that Mommy doesn’t give up that easily. = )
More to come… Halloween is just around the corner!

I love these pictures of Emma reading. She really loves her books!

Emma’s learned how to balance things on her fingertips. It’s so cute!

She loves her See-N-Say!

Some random shots of Noah. I love his facial expressions!!! Boy that little guy has me wrapped around his finger! = )

These pictures of Emma are actually from a little while back. This was the morning that Emma literally posed for the camera. She saw me get the camera out and come into the playroom, so she went over to her toy bin, got this cube out, sat on it, and began smiling. If only it were this easy all the time!!! = )

One of my favorites of Emma. Ever.
