In Daddy’s hands…

So here’s fair warning… My life for the last several weeks has been 100% about Toby and our kids. Therefore, the last several weeks have been filled with taking it easy and taking pictures of Emma and Noah… = ) Like I said, this is your warning.

Long post ahead…

It’s been nine days since Noah was born and it’s been so much fun for us to watch the kids together. Emma loves Noah already. She likes to give people things and Noah is no exception! Sometimes it’s incredibly cute like covering him up with her blankie. Other times, it’s not so cute. Today she decided to shove a DVD in his face. He was not happy.

Noah is the only one that Emma will kiss when we ask her to 100% of the time. She walks around saying “baby” whenever Noah’s in the room. She absolutely melts my heart. I got a couple pictures of the two of them together this morning. I can’t wait to watch them grow together!

Noah was tired… = )

Aside from the pictures of the two of them, I sat down on the floor today to spend some time with Emma and it wasn’t long before I got up to get the camera. = ) These are the result… I love this kid.

This first one is my favorite. I think I’m going to have to get a copy of this printed to hang in our room. Personality is something she certainly doesn’t lack!

She was walking past me when I caught this. I love her curls in this picture!

Toby kept throwing her up in the air. I caught a bunch, but I decided to post just one! = )

Noah is here!!!

Toby and I went in for our scheduled C-section on July 3rd and Noah was born at 11:07am. He was 9 pounds 7 ounces and 20 inches long. He is amazing. I could never have imagined how much I would love this little guy. Even more than how much I love Noah, I can’t explain how much I love watching Emma and Noah together! Emma is a great big sister! She is very gentle with Noah – I was worried about that with her being so young!

The funniest thing, though, is that Emma cries whenever Noah cries. Don’t get me wrong! It can be overwhelmingly exasperating at times and I am so blessed that Toby’s been at home to keep me from being double-teamed! The stress of the situation aside, it is adorable!

So without further ado, here are a couple of pictures from the last several days! I haven’t done Noah’s newborn shoot yet, so there will be more coming soon! I’ll keep you posted!
